Welcome back to another exciting year in DoWEA Europe. Together, we will continue creating opportunities for students to discover their strengths, build confidence, and achieve at high levels. (DoWEA)
It is my pleasure to welcome back our military-connected students and families across DoWEA Europe for the start of the 2026-27 school year.
The beginning of a new school year brings a sense of possibility and a renewed commitment to supporting every student we serve. Across our region, educators and staff have been preparing with care and purpose to welcome students into classrooms where they feel supported, challenged, and ready to learn.

As we begin the year, we will implement the next phase of our Blueprint for Continuous Improvement. Grounded in four priorities, Student Excellence, Instructional Excellence, Service Excellence, and Organizational Excellence, the Blueprint reflects our commitment to delivering a world-class education for every military-connected student while continuously improving how we serve students, families, and our communities.
This commitment is reflected in our focus on research-informed instruction, strong family partnerships, exceptional service, and responsible innovation. We recognize parents as their child’s first teachers and value the important role families play in every student’s success. Together, we are building confident learners, strong communities, and future-ready citizens. This school year also provides a unique opportunity to celebrate America’s 250th Birthday. Throughout the year, students will engage in learning experiences that explore our nation’s history, civic responsibility, and the values of service that are reflected every day in our military communities.
As families enjoy the final days of summer and prepare for the year ahead, our schools are preparing welcoming classrooms, meaningful learning experiences, and opportunities for every student to succeed. We look forward to partnering with you and supporting students as they learn, lead, and grow throughout the year.
