Der Drachenstich, Fürth im Wald | Aug. 8-17, 2026

Tradinno, a four-legged, fire-breathing dragon, still holds the Guinness World Record as the “Largest Walking Robot,” and Drachenstich in Fürth im Wald is an over 500-year-old festival all about him.

Visitors can enjoy the main event, which is a historical pageant about the return of the banished dragon. There is also a medieval market, where you can sample roasted pig, stews and Cave-Gladium Beer, a specialty lager from the region.

Kinderdrachenstich is a kid-friendly version of the pageant where they can participate and win prizes. Purchase tickets in advance. Drachenstich.de
