Sept. 15-19, Ramstein-Miesenbach
Every third weekend in September, the center of Ramstein-Miesenbach morphs into a fun fest for everyone! With plenty of live music, rides and games for kids of all ages and, of course, lots of local beverages to sample, you won’t want to miss it. Tuesday is a family day, featuring special discounts.
Funhouse-P!nk Tribute Show
Sept. 16, Zweibrücken
Check out one of Europe’s most successful P!nk tribute bands in Zweibrücken. Fans of the soulful rocker will enjoy covers of her best hits and newest singles in this 2-hour show.
Mineral and Fossil Swap
Sept. 16-17, Imsbach
Rich in mining and history, Imsbach and the surrounding Donnersberg region are well-known for amazing fossils and minerals. Visitors can peruse the shimmering and colorful rocky finds. Or take a guided tour through one of the local mines.
Sept. 17, Kaiserslatuern
Whether you’re a serious runner, just starting or just want to enjoy the scenery, the Strahlesellauf has different routes and different distances available to all abilities. The event begins at 10 a.m. and admission is free.
Food Truck Friday
Sept. 15, Frankfurt
Bring your appetite to the Jahrhunderthalle Frankfurt pond for a night filled with delicious treats and refreshing drinks. Surrounding the pond will be 50 different food trucks ready to serve deluxe burgers, delicious BBQ, tasty tacos and much more! Admission is free but bring 3 euros for parking.
Seligenstadt Wine Market
Sept. 15-17, Seligenstadt
Another weekend, another wine market! Not only will wine from the Rhein-Main region be available but also from Italy, Portugal, France, Austria and South Africa. Stock up now on wines from around the world for the upcoming holiday season! Tons of food from crepes, pizza, pretzels, pastries and more will be around for you to indulge in.
Dirty 30 Duathlon
Sept. 16, Wiesbaden
Time to get out and sweaty this weekend! At the Dirty 30 Duathlon you’ll start with a five-mile run, jump on your bike for 20 miles and finish with another five-mile run. The first man and woman to cross the finish line will receive medals! Be sure to bring your own bike and helmet or rent one from the Wiesbaden Outdoor Recreation. The cost is $25 to participate and you must be 18 or older.
