From top chefs who cater to the castles to the up and coming young chefs who are mixing old and new recipes, this festival will have you feeling full and satisfied. Spice up your gym routine and workout outside for a change! Outdoor Nation Kaiserslautern will be providing an open-air workout for those who love fitness and the great outdoors. The event starts at 10 a.m at the Outdoor Nation Westpfalz center.
Skincare and Makeup Workshop

Girls, grab your girlfriends and head to the Smart Kreativ shop in Siegelbach for their skincare and makeup workshop. The hostess will teach you everything there is to know about skin care and beauty routines. She will even show you an easy daytime makeup look, perfect for those who don’t have time in the mornings. By the end of the workshop, your skin will be glowing and you’ll learn how to look good even in a time crunch. Healthy drinks will be provided. The workshop starts at 11 a.m. and ends at 2 p.m.

More than 650 top tattoo artists from around 50 countries are on hand to show off their work and maybe even leave you with a lifelong souvenir. Clothing and accessory stands sell all that’s needed to complete a new look. Entertainment is delivered in the form of stage shows, band performances and tattoo contests. Hours are 3 p.m.-midnight April 20; noon-midnight April 21; and noon-6 p.m. April 21. Entry costs 25 euros; children under 12 enter free.
April 21, Am Parkfeld, Biebrich Castle Grounds, Wiesbaden-Biebrich
From March through October, usually on the third Saturday of the month, a street running alongside the grounds of Biebrich Castle is the site of a flea market at which the usual assortment of glass, dishes, ceramics, books, clothing and other treasures trades hands. Stands are set up and open for business from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Can’t make it that day? Other dates for 2018 are April 21; June 16; July 21; Aug. 25; Sept. 15 and Oct. 20.

Live music, a reggae party, and tasty African dishes and drinks are the makings for a fun night on the town. The four bands taking to the stage play West African drums, Japanese drums, African Roots, Reggae, and Ska. And the good vibes are for a good cause- proceeds support children in need in Africa. Tickets are 12 euros in advance (available at the Wiesbaden Tourist Info Center on the Market Square or Galeria Kaufhof) or 14 euros at the door. Those under 14 enter free. The program starts at 7 p.m.
April 22, Downtown Mainz
Merchants in downtown Mainz kick-start spring by offering exceptional opening hours
1 p.m.-6 p.m. Sunday. At the “Wine Spring” event on nearby Schillerplatz, wines from Rhineland-Palatinate and Spain, along with Mediterranean-inspired tapas and treats, await sampling. Singer and guitarist Felipe Sauvageon plays a program titled “gypsy and wine” from noon.
