Wondering what to do this weekend? We've got some great events in the Kaiserslautern and Wiesbaden areas lined up for you! Here's what's up:

Kaiserslautern

End of Summer Luau
Aug. 11, Kaiserslautern

The Armstrong Club wants you to come out to this weekend to kiss the summer goodbye! What better way to say goodbye to summer than with a luau? Dance the night away while sipping on refreshing, tropical drinks and eating delicious foods.  Bring your friends out for this hot event! Admission is free.

Ramstein Color Run
Aug. 12, Ramstein Air Base

A very popular 5k has made it’s way to the KMC! Get your sweat on at the Color Run this Saturday! Online registration has ended but you can still participate! Show up to the Southside Fitness Center on Ramstein Air Base at 8 a.m. to register. The cost to run is $45 per person. Kids 12 and under get to run for free.

Fest of Cultures
Aug. 13, Kaiserslautern

Head out to the Gartenschau Kaiserslautern for the Fest of Cultures this Sunday! From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. dance, indulge in various delicacies and embrace other cultures. Over 60 artists from 20 countries will showcase their culture’s performing arts for an experience unlike any other. You can find the full program of the Fest of Cultures online.

Kiddie Disco
Aug. 13, Ramstein Air Base

Bring your kids to the E-Club for an afternoon filled with dancing, singing and pizza this Sunday! This is a great opportunity for your children to make new friends. Combining pizza and fun is a sure way to bond kiddos together! The cost for club members is $5 per adult and free for children 12 and under. For non-members the cost is $7 per adult and $2 for children 12 and under.

Wiesbaden

Apple Wine Festival
Aug. 11-20, Frankfurt

You do not want to miss one of the most anticipated events of the year! Frankfurt’s Apple Wine festival has been around for hundreds of years and is highlight for many locals and tourists. Gather in the Main metropolis listening to traditional Hessian bands in the background while tasting an array of fine apple wines. People of all ages are welcome to this extraordinary event! Admission into the festival is free.

Wine Week 2017
August 11-20, Wiesbaden

A whole week dedicated to wine? Who wouldn’t want to participate in that?
People from all over flock to the Hessian capital of Wiesbaden for the Rheingau Wine Week. Around a hundred vineyard owners from the Rheingau region will give you the chance to taste and buy their wines. To start the festival, there will be a grand parade taking place through the Schlossplatz. There will be live music from various genres playing throughout the entire festival. There’s no excuse for missing out on this week-long wine event!   


Lil’ Wayne Concert
Aug. 13, Cologne

In the mood for a Weezy concert? You’re in luck! Lil’ Wayne is performing in E-Werk Stadium in Cologne this weekend for his World Wide Weezy Tour. Lil’ Wayne is one of the most popular hip-hop artists and his concerts are sure to not disappoint! Purchase your tickets online before they sell out!
