Watch out for damage on the autobahn due to heat

Due to the rising temperatures in excess of 30 degrees Celsius (86 degrees Fahrenheit), there have been some areas on the autobahn that have suffered some damages referred to as “blow-ups.”

ADAC encourages everyone to drive slower on damaged areas of the road and ensure there is a safe distance between your vehicle and the one in front of you.

However, in areas that don't seem to have had a "blow-up" still strictly drive the speed limit. Sometimes these "blow-ups" can happen out of nowhere and without warning, which can be very dangerous to you and other drivers around you.

Be safe out there in the heat and on the road!
