Road closures in downtown Kaiserslautern May 18

Drivers and residents in the downtown Kaiserslautern area may need to alter their driving plans Thursday, May 18. Beginning at 4 p.m., roads around the city center will close for the B2Run — one of the larger running events in the Rheinland-Pfalz. Streets will only be blocked for as long as necessary; once the last runner has passed, the streets will open again.

Public transportation on buses and trains will likely experience delays and detours. Stops along Karl-Marx-Straße will not be running from 4 to 8 p.m.  Parking garages and lots in the Stiftsplatz, Altenhof and Lutrinastraße will also be affected.
