Get spooky at Halloween in Burg Frankenstein

Celebrate the return of spooky festivities at Germany’s biggest Halloween party: Burg Frankenstein. This year’s scary theme hits a little close to home, as a visit to the castle will envelop visitors in a severely plague-infected village circa the mid-1300s.

As you make your way through the castle, be on the lookout for spurting blood and pus as well as encounters with grave diggers, infected people and other monsters eager to spread the deadly plague. Amidst the spookiness, stands for food and drinks are available throughout the castle for your enjoyment.

Located 25 minutes outside Darmstadt and 45 minutes away from Frankfurt, regular and VIP tickets are available. Since there is no parking at the castle during the Halloween festivities, there is a bus shuttle to and from available parking. More information and tickets can be purchased here:
