With more than 30,000 visitors in its debut year, the German Comic Con Berlin has proven its might. On Oct. 15 and 16, the halls of Messe Berlin will be transformed into a wonderland for comic, sci-fi and fantasy aficionados. With discussion panels, autograph and photo shoots, shopping, memorabilia and more, there is truly something for everyone.

Some of the special guests this year include actors Christopher Lloyd (Dr. Emmett Brown, “Back to the Future” trilogy), James Marsters (Spike, “Buffy” and “Angel”), Ray Park (Darth Maul, “Star Wars: The Phantom Menace”), and Robert Englund (Freddy Krueger, “Nightmare on Elm Street” series). Iain Glen (“Game of Thrones) and Christopher Lambert (“Highlander”) will also be in attendance.

Stroll through the artists’ alley to view some amazing anime and illustrations, or get a headstart on your Christmas shopping. This is a great chance to purchase that hard-to-find or limited edition memorabilia. Love cosplay? Changing rooms will be available for you to do your best Clark Kent/Superman quick change.

Due to popularity and demand, tickets are extremely limited. At the time of publication, there are select tickets for Sunday and the VIP Prime package is still available at 199 euros. If you miss out on this one, there will be another German Comic Con in Dortmund, Dec. 2-4. Special guests in Dortmund include Ron Pearlman (“Hellboy”), Billy Dee Williams (“Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back” and “Star Wars: Return of the Jedi”), and David Hasselhoff (“Knight Rider”, “Baywatch”).
