Ramstein chief master sergeant to become Air Force's top enlisted leader
KAISERSLAUTERN, Germany — Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. David L. Goldfein has tapped the command chief master sergeant for U.S. Air Forces in Europe and Air Forces Africa to be the Air Force’s next top enlisted leader.
Chief Master Sgt. Kaleth O. Wright is Goldfein’s pick to be the 18th chief master sergeant of the Air Force, Goldfein announced Wednesday during a ceremony at the Pentagon. Wright will assume his new position in February, after the retirement of Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force James A. Cody, who’s been on the job since January 2013.
