For a healthier twist on spaghetti, try this lighter version using ground pork and penne pasta.


1 1⁄2 c
penne pasta (uncooked)
1 lb
ground pork
1⁄2 c
onion (chopped)
1 cn
(8-ounces) tomato sauce
1 t
Italian seasoning
zucchini (cut into 1/4-inch slices)


Yield: 6 Servings
1. Cook pasta according to package directions.2. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook pork and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain.3. Add the tomatoes, tomato sauce and Italian seasoning. Bring mixture to a boil.4. Reduce heat; cover and cook for 5 minutes to allow flavors to blend.5. Drain pasta; add to skillet. Stir in zucchini.
