Bavaria

Holi Festival
June 16, Nuremberg

Celebrate peace, love, and harmony during this open air festival. Surrounded by nature and full of bursting paint colors, this party will be overflowing with food, drinks and fantastic music. International DJs will be performing. Admission is for those 16 years and older. Tickets range from 13.64 to 74.43 euros and can be purchased online.

Frankisch MundArt Festival Edzerdla
June 16-17, Bugbernheim

Experience the second annual festival where musicians, authors and dancers alike take the stage to perform their works. There will even be street musicians! One day tickets are available online and cost 29 euros, or 49 euros for both days prior to the festival. Tickets purchased at the box office at 35 euros for one day or 59 euros for both days.

English tour of Augsburg Zoo
June 17, Augsburg

Follow American native Pamela Jung as she leads a group through the zoo and regales them with tales of the animals. The tour starts at 2 p.m. and lasts two hours. Tickets are 3 euros plus admission. Advance registration is required.

Stuttgart

Ghost Walk
June 15, Stuttgart

Visit the Old Palace, Market Hall and Collegiate Church while listening to spooky tales of headless horsemen, ghosts and decapitation in English. Tickets are available at the beginning of the tour and are 15 euros for adults, 10 euros for children. The tour meets at the town hall by the statue of Stuttgardia and begins at 9:30 p.m.

Intercultural Children’s Festival

June 17, Stuttgart

Discover how colorful and diverse the city of Stuttgart is during this children’s festival in the Market Square. There will be many hands on programs including dancing, cooking and game as well as food and drinks.

Mercedes Cup: tennis tournament
Through June 17, Stuttgart

Watch as the world’s finest tennis players battle for the first place title and a Mercedes-Benz while you enjoy sitting outside at Tennis Club Weissenhof. Day tickets can be purchased online and start at 25 euros. Don’t miss this chance to enjoy the weather and a fierce competition!
