Ballet Festival Week
Through April 22, Munich
Experience the gracefulness of the dancers while they twirl across the stage during Ballet Festival Week. See performances of Alice in Wonderland, Spartacus, Anna Karenina and more. Tickets range from 8 to 88 euros, depending on availability, and can be purchased online.
Fascination Modeling Sulzbach-Rosenberg
April 20-21, Sulzbach-Rosenberg
View a large display of model airplanes, plastic models, ships, helicopters and much more at the Krötensee Middle School. This year’s special exhibition celebrates 125 years of aviation. Hours are Saturday from 2 to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Songs of Frank Sinatra and Liza Minnelli
April 21, Augsburg
Enjoy the songs of Frank and Liza with the accompaniment of the Munich big band at the Parktheater in Kurhaus Goggingen. Think “New York, New York” and “My Way.” The show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available online and range from 42.70 to 47.20 euros.
eMotion Car Fair
April 21-22, Ludwigsburg
Electric vehicles, classic cars, and the latest cars will all be on display during the eMotion Car Fair. An electric Harley Davidson will be on display from 3 - 6 p.m. at Rathaushof on Saturday. A classic car parade will be on Sunday at noon in the downtown area, starting at Seeschloss Monrepos to Marktplatz. Food trucks will be on site. The fair is open from Saturday at 11 a.m. to Sunday at 6 p.m.
Porsche Tennis Grand Prix
April 21-29, Stuttgart
Since 1978, the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix has been a annual event. Over 35,000 spectators flock to Stuttgart each year for the chance to watch the athleticism while players battle for first place. Tickets start at 7.50 euros and can be purchased online. April 21-22 are children’s days and admission for children up to the age of 12 is free.

Enjoy a day family fun at the Stuttgarter Frühlingsfest. There will be rides, beer tents and a variety of food. The opening ceremony includes a traditional barrel tapping and is Saturday, April 21 at noon in the Gockelesmaier festival tent. Opening hours are Monday - Thursday, 12 p.m. to 11 p.m., Friday noon to midnight, Saturday 11 a.m. to midnight and Sundays 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
