Germans and Americans will come together this weekend to celebrate the two cultures. This is the third year for Ramstein’s German-American Friendship Festival. Military families and locals mingle while listening to live music, eating both American and German food.

Kids can enjoy face painting, balloon animals and getting their photo taken with Ramstein’s mascot. There will be a batting cage and if you’re brave enough, bull riding.

If you’re wanting to learn more about the Ramstein community, there will be a free 90-minute walking tour Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. where you’ll learn about Ramstein’s history and what the village offers families. The tour is given in English and meets in front of the stage.

The festival is free and family-friendly. Festivities will be held at the John F. Kennedy Platz in Ramstein. On Friday and Saturday, the party starts at 6 p.m. On Sunday, it starts at 11:30 a.m. Below is a schedule of the live music you’ll hear this weekend.
