If you’re planning on visiting Paris this weekend, you might experience a few travel delays. Gare de Lyon, one of the city's main arteries for train travel, will close midnight March 17 and reopen midnight March 19.

Metro and RER D and R trains will be running on a revised schedule with some closures along the lines. RER A trains will be operating normally. SNCF will be upgrading the signaling system at the station. Trains arriving from Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Kaiserslautern into Gare de l’Est should not be affected.
