Since 1996, Kaiserslautern area families, youth and women have been celebrated annually as a part of World Children’s Day.

This year’s non-profit event — Kinderaltstadtfest, or Children’s Old City Festival, — is sponsored by the local chapter of the German Child Protection Association, the Youth Department of the City of Kaiserslautern, Kreisverband Kaiserslautern, SOS Children and the Kaiserslautern Youth Aid organization.

Games, activities and fun for the whole family will be offered on Saturday, Sept. 24 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m in the Kaiserslautern Jugendzentrum (youth center).
