Increased frequency of KMC Giant Voice system

RAMSTEIN AIR BASE, Germany -- Starting Feb. 3, the 86th Communications Squadron will be increasing the frequency of maintenance tests on the Giant Voice mass notification towers on Air Force installations within the Kaiserslautern Military Community.

Between 9:00 and 11:00 a.m., personnel on Ramstein, Vogelweh, Kapaun, and Einsiedlerhof may hear a short warning tone and verbal test message lasting 5 to 10 seconds. The 86th Airlift Wing Command Post will continue their weekly test each Wednesday at 12:00 p.m., while retreat and the national anthems will continue to play from selected towers Monday through Friday at 5:00 p.m.
