AFN kicking off extensive Super Bowl coverage

American Forces Network (AFN) Super Bowl LI coverage begins hours before the big game, Feb. 5 at 9 a.m. CET/ 5 p.m. JKT on AFN|sports.  The Super Bowl pre-game starts at 8 p.m. CET Feb. 5/4 a.m. JKT Feb. 6.  Kick-off time is 12:25 a.m. CET/8:25 a.m. JKT Feb. 6. 

Super Bowl LI pre-game shows include “Super Bowl Saturday Night,”  “NFL Total Access,” “NFL Honors” and “Players Only Super Bowl 50 Special.”

AFN|sports repeats the Super Bowl Feb. 6 at 10:30 a.m. CET/6:30 p.m. JKT and again Feb. 6 at 6:30 p.m. CET/2:30 a.m. JKT Feb. 7.

AFN radio airs the game live on AFN Eagle and AFN Voice via AFN 360 Internet radio starting at 11 p.m. CET Feb. 5/7 a.m. JKT Feb. 6. 

For the second year in a row, AFN invites viewers to live-chat during the Super Bowl on social media.  Share messages on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram by using #SB51AFN.  AFN will share viewer messages live on the air during both the pre-game and Super Bowl.  

Following the live airing of the Super Bowl, AFN will air the brand new Fox event series premiere “24: Legacy” on AFN|sports.
